Need it, love it,  sell it on ebay ?

I did !  Sold all the stuff I did not need or love.

The lenses in my gear list are the ones I need or love.

Got to keep a M6II because that is the best body to mount to all but 2 of them ?

I am not getting rid of the 32mm or 11-22mm or 56mm for that matter anytime soon !

Nice shots !

The EF 100mm L is a Top Used Value Pick for 2022 too in my book !

This is where I bought mine. The 32mm and 11-22mm too.

They test the lenses before they buy them.

Canon has not released anything that can replace it. They could theoretically release a similarly small RF body with a bunch of similarly small lenses. After all, the difference in flange distance between the two mounts is minimal (18 vs 20mm). This will take maybe another 1-2 years and only if Canon even plans to do that in the first place. I use my M6ii w/35mm f1.4 mostly for 4k videos. I thought if I switch to iPhone 14 pro I could just sell M6ii. Boy, was I wrong, the fake shallow DoF 4k videos with 14 pro is still just that - fake, and even regular iPhone 14 pro 4k once watched on 60”+ screen looks so much worse than 4k (3.2k?) footage from M6ii.

In the new age of consumer electronics we should camp out in line at Best Buy for the latest and greatest ?

Canon is not so good at doing this kind of new release stuff though.

They came out with the latest and greatest crop body, R7, but designed NO crop lenses for it that would take full advantage of the potential of the 32mp sensor !

I do not see FF lenses as future proof either.

Crop sensors keep getting better and so does PL !

I hate lines and don't go out to stores on black friday

agree - they have even switched gears away from us to be about bigger gear for pros

their R7 release was about those with big long lenses already

for the rest of us, no reason to move, we have smaller m systems and the f1.4 glass available

I do not see FF lenses as future proof either.

agree AI is leveling the field

yes they do, and it is amazing to me I did useable event work up to iso 12,800
