New Body = New life for XF 60mm F2.4!
5

My XF60 had fallen into disuse on my X-E2 body, but recently (in 2021) I upgraded to an almost-new XH-1, and voila!  this little lens became my superstar, mostly due to the IBIS in the X-H1.  Number of "keepers" is almost 100%, and now my only complaint is the somewhat loose aperture ring.  Too often when I have it on A, it slips to F22.  Yikes!  But this is minor, the lens has been reincarnated by the X-H1.

I used 60mm f2.4 extensively on trip to Costa Rica a few years back with an X-T1. Boy I would have loved IBIS!
Now got an X-H2, so maybe I should go back again as I really enjoyed that holiday.

Care to share some photos? (Both of you )

I've bought one just for fun, hadn't yet had a chance to put it in use though

Hi,

Thx. Nice images. I see what you mean about the need for IBIS. It must have been quite low light to have used ISO 3200 on an XT1 with the lens wide open. It would have been nice to get the lizard's crest in focus. OTOH, the image demonstrates the 60's beautiful bokeh very nicely. I really like the 60mm.  - A versatile and underrated lens.

Cheers, Rod

Hello! I imagine the spider shot is a crop? And if it is, how much of a crop? Thank you.
