Adaptalux - which diffusers to get?

For anyone that has used the Adaptalux system and tried the white diffusers with the standard white lights… any thoughts or preferences regarding the level 1 vs 2 vs 3 diffusers?

My understanding is that the level 3 is generally most useful for the extra bright light they offer, but in practice wondering if anyone has thoughts about the results they are getting with the different level diffusers?

Hello, Sam here.

thiught I would jump in and help you here. So level 3 is the least see through diffuser and level 1 is the most see through. So level 1 lets the most light through.

in practice, level 2 is the most popular is it’s a nice in between effect. level 1 is good if you are after a diffused light but want to keep higher camera settings where it’s level 3 is for even more diffused light, at the sacrifice of camera settings.

I hope this helps!

Sam, thanks. When you say “higher camera settings” can you describe more what you mean?
