JJC KIWIFOTOS Extended Eyecup for R5 and R6

The eyecups on the R5, R6, etc. are now held in place with screws so they won't fall off as easily but in the event that they get damaged, you can replace them. JJC is the first 3rd party that I know of that released a replacement eyecup. Its not a direct replacement in terms of the rubber because these extended it out kind of like Hoodman eyecups.

They also have it available for the R3, R7, R10 and RP

Thanks for this post. Ordered mine from Amazon for the R6 which arrived today. Replacement really took no longer than 5-6 minutes, yet on a second note the screwdriver included was practically useless, its too big for the stock screws on the camera. So I used my own screwdriver kit with the smallest "Philips" head which did a great job here. All-in-all fully satisfied with this purchase, it does block light coming in from the sides and now my nose doesn't touch the LDC screen. Highly recommended!

Unboxing:

Bundled screwdriver useless coz its too big for the job:

Used a separate screwdriver kit with a smaller head:

Looks pretty handsome:

I like this, very cool.  I like that you can fold the rubber back again to collapse it.  Makes it pack better in the camera bag.  Anyone know if it will also work on the R6 II?

Thanks for posting this. I have struggled with the eyecups on my R6s in bright light and have had to bodge some eyecup extensions using some mouldable foam sheets. These look like a much more elegant solution!
