Konica Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 5D (2005); RTC-battery..? (Real-Time-Clock battery). Condensator..? Loca

I just bought this camera* for fun/comparison. It doesn't hold the time and date (of course), but I was hoping to fix that.

Service manual: http://www.bjone.no/Konica_Minolta_Dynax_Maxxum_5D_service_manual.pdf

*) 35 USD for Camera + AF DT 18-70mm + Tamron 70-300mm f4-5.6 AF LD + flash Minolta Program 3600 HS D :-).
No charger, but a new batteryplate (3 USD) for my Andoer 4-channel charger is on its way, + two Digieye NP-400 batteries (15 USD)

Re: Konica Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 5D (2005);

You can see where is located in the &D here :https://www.pbase.com/pganzel/a_look_inside_the_maxxum_7d

Maybe it is around there in the 5D too.

BTW, I had a look into that 5D service manual but I could not find a single reference to that internal battery.

Re: Konica Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 5D (2005);

Thanks a lot. That will probably help me.

Any idea where to find that (main)board..? I once fixed something "deep inside" a shirt pocket camera, but I'm far from familiar with this kind of work.

Is it this one? (purple circle). Inside the back panel, I assume..?

Re: Konica Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 5D (2005);

I never opened one of those cameras but I do think that you have the right board there.

Odd that I cannot find any reference to it on the Net.

A lot of  (all ?) cameras at the time had a similar internal battery . I think now they all have a supercapacitor.
