Shutter priority 27mm lens on x-t2

I have looked at the online manual, but cant find out how to get shutter priority using an older 27mm on x-t2 body. Any ideas?

Set the shutter speed using the dial on the top plate, then assign aperture to one of the control dials and scroll that past f/16 until it’s in Auto. You should see “S” in the bottom left of the viewfinder.

I think one of the control wheels automatically becomes aperture when you attach a no aperture ring lens.  I can't remember which.  Spin the wheel to find out.  At one end it is auto aperture then it controls the aperture as you click it round.
