When then lens comes before the adapter

Very excited with this purchase.

I've heard of the nifty fifty even before I got into cameras. I got this for about $104 here in my country.

To be honest I would have preferred the 55-250mm STM as my first mount adapted lens. But it's so pricey where I am from. Still looking for a good deal on it.

I know most people use this as a portrait lens but on the eos M3, I'm going to treat this like a mini telephoto lens good up to 80mm equiv. (A set up like this could also be a cheaper/better alternative than buying something like Canon G1X iii - for those that are budget cautious - m200 body + nifty fifty or ef-m 18-55mm stm).

Now I just gotta wait for the viltrox ef-m to EF adapter to arrive.

Congratulation to your purchase, despite the time/order being missaligned!

I had this lens for many years and loved it it for portraits. It is very sharp wide open, with the exception of the outer corners. Stopped down to 2.8 it is already very sharp and, from f4 on tack sharp.

Enjoy and be patient, your time for the 55-250 STM will come, too...
