Query: Canon R6 Mark II with EF 100mm F2.8L

Hi, I am using the Canon R6 Mark II with EF 100mm F2.8L. I used the Electronic first-curtain shutter and also ‘Low-speed continuous shooting’. For some reason, I always find that the keeper using the Canon R6 Mark II with EF 100mm F2.8L is low, and the photo is not sharp. I am trying to figure out is it user problem or what other possible reason that may result in this (e.g. higher aperture required?). I do not feel that my keeper is low with the EF 100-400mm F4.5-5.6L II lens though.

Kindly advise. Thank you.

One thing to try, is to AF on a spot using the spot AF no servo, then x6 the EVF, then try to see if you can get a better manual focus and then do another AF again. If there is no change, manual focus and spot AF are the same. If there is a change, the AF is off

I would do some controlled tests with a static subject.  That is a very small moving subject with shallow DOF so plenty of room for user error.

Thanks. I will try out on a static object first. This is a lens that I really like as it give me excellent quality when I was able to nail the photo. Hopefully indeed is a user error.
