XT4 RAF > DxO PureRaw2 > CaptureONE Express or Pro -> no fim simulations in converted DNGs

Hi,

I found that my RAF file from XT4 doesn't have a Film Sim Styles after it is processed by DxO Pure Raw2 either on C1Express for Fuji or C1Pro (trial)

Does anyone overcome this issue?

PS. Of course with RAF file directly in C1 everything is fine

Regards,

Yeah, Capture One doesn't support film profiles for RAWS processed and in PureRaw and imported.

That's a shame.  In Photoshop ACR, I can still select the sims though the one used and/or set as my default is not picked yet I'm able to override and use the sims.

I was using Capture One for 2 years and loved it. I then discovered the magic of PureRaw but did notice I lost the ability to use film Sims. I then discovered Lightroom did not have this issue.

As the benifits of PureRaw for me outweigh the benifits of C1 I have now moved my workflow back to Lightroom.

C1 could apply film sims after DxO, but unlike Lightroom which uses camera model metadata to determine camera specific film profile usage, Capture One seems to base it on file type - RAF works, DNG does not. I don’t know if there’s a workaround (I’m a Lightroom user).

…And don’t tend to use the Fuji profiles anyway.

I think if enough people get onto them about it they might roll out support, so could be worth raising a ticket with them.

It is quite annoying.

I also have a licence for Lightroom 6.14 (without subscription) which is supporting X100F profiles which I also have. Knowing that I solved my issue by changing the unique model name of X-T4 to X100F using exif tool and my final workflow which I'm satisfy of is as follows

1. PhotoMechanic -> choose & rename

2. DxO PureRaw2 -> process all chosen RAF file into a DNG files

3. Fire a line in Windows/cmd.exe : exiftool -uniqueCameraModel="Fujifilm X100F" -overwrite_original -ext dng .

4. Run LR 6.14 and Import DNG files with UserPreset which has chosen Camera Calibration > X100F > Provia/Standard or Acros or Velvia or Classic Chrome

5. Make further adjustments of Exposure and other parameters in LR 6.14

6. Export selected images into JPG or print them out

Thank you for all your answers.
