Some more from the Yorkshire Dales - Malham Cove
11

Hi all, following from my previous post I've got round to PP'ing the next day's shots. Some taken in the IR-converted K5II, some the standard K5IIs. Using either the 20mm or 28mm A-lenses. All PP in Silkypix except false colour IR channel swap in photoshop.

Malham Cove approach - 720nm IR - K5II - SMC-A 20mm/2.8

Malham Cove east side - 720nm IR - K5II - SMC-A 20mm/2.8

Signpost - K5IIs - BW conversion - SMC-A 28mm/2.8

Malham Cove - K5IIs - panorama using SMC-A 28mm/2.8

Gordale Scar - K5IIs - panorama using SMC-A 28mm/2.8

Lonesome Ewe among the limestone - K5IIs - BW conversion - SMC-A 28mm/2.8

Thanks for looking. Comments are welcome.More in the album if you fancy them

Very nice. Of course now it's snowing up there I expect it'll look much like shot 1 even without the IR conversion.

Bring in brettmeikle......

I remember making a shot from the top of Malham Cove. There used to be a waterfall from the top, but that was a waterfall carrying meltwater from glaciers at the end of the last Ice Age more than 12,000 years ago....

Yes we walked up the dry valley to Malham Tarn. Must have been an impressive sight!

I meant to include this one, this is my fave shot of the day, from the top of Malham Cove.

K5IIs + SMC-A 28mm f2.8. Panorama in ICE, also converted to BW.

Haha Rog!  It's so close to my heart, yet all so far away.  That's Brexile for ya!

Here's a fairly recent non-Dales image from my current home.  And you can't walk out the door but you trip over a Dutchman!

Check out Storm Desmond and Malham back in 2015.  For a day this became the country's highest waterfall by a long way.

You'll have to make due with it😃. We Dutch can be found anywhere where it isn't flat...It's annoying I know.
