Your recommendations please xe3 xt2 xt20

I have had the xt 1 xt2 and now xs10

i have a couple of fuji lenses.

I have the xt2 to my daughter but now I am looking for a cheap alternative and different camera for my friend I saw some attractive prices

I have never used the xe3 or xe2 or the xt200 or xt 20

but I want a good camera that I also want to use

my budget is limited to 400 euros

which camera would you recommend I am bending towards the xe series

your thoughts are welcome

Fujifilm X-E2 Fujifilm X-T1 Fujifilm X-T20

Of those (and that includes the X-S10), I would go with the X-T20 hands down - classic interface, tilt screen, d-pad (lots of custom buttons), highlight warning blinkies, the best high ISO performance. Great little camera, I still use mine all the time.

This really depends on what style you like best. Do you prefer the traditional style or PSAM dial? Do you favor the viewfinder centered or off to the left? With the XE-3 you get a slightly smaller size (compared to the X-20) with the viewfinder on the side, but you lose the on-board fill flash and the D-pad.

I can vouch for the X-T20 as a really solid build, but it does have a few ergonomic issues that have been somewhat improved in later designs. Going small tends to involve those compromises. I also have the X-T2 which has a roomier layout, better buffer and much more capable video - including Flog (if you update the firmware accordingly). Both bodies get their fair share of use, but the additional cost of the X-T2 is worth it if you're going with only one body.

Two questions. First, IBIS or not? I assume that you will retain your XS10, so you have that covered. Second, what is your body style preference? SLR style or range finger style. I had a XT20 and a XE3; both are brilliant small, capable cameras with similar/same IQ. Thus, for me the answer to the preferred body style question may solve the dilemma.

When I had a XT20, then XT3, my second camera was the small, light XE3 (with a 27 lens) which made for an excellent everyday, discreet camera.

Good luck with your choice.
