App to rename images individually? (not batch)

I am looking for an app where I can swipe through images one by one, then rename them without going through a menu. Ideally the current image is displayed with a prompt underneath, showing its current file name, and which can be easily replaced.

Piktures gallery app is free in the Play Store, rename from the "three dots" - probably not unique:

I haven't seen a "dedicated" single shot renaming app.  Some file managers will rename in thumbnail view.

Thanks for the suggestion, but exactly the menu is what I want to avoid. It is just tedious.

That sounds like an improvement, especially if one could increase the size of the thumbnails to fill the screen. (like in Bridge)

Xplore (Lonely Cat) is free and dual pane (I prefer, others don't.) Decently viewable thumbnails (including DNG) and simply check its box for the center Rename button. Tap the image to bring up its own image viewer. I haven't used anything else for a while. (The user can adjust those center buttons up and down or remove them to personalize.)

Thanks, I just looked at it, but it's still too many buttons to press: long-press on file, select rename from the menu, and only then enter the name. Also, I first have to navigate to the DCIM folder.
