Boiling Pots
5

A stream/river that runs into the Pacific fed by rain from higher elevations.  It is called boiling pots because the structurre of the river at one pointed is very and several people have drowned because the get sucked down into it and can't get out.  Eventually, and I don't know what causes this, the body will get thrown out and floating under one of the bridge. This happened several years ago to a woman who had been my daughter's  swim instructor although a while ago. She was swimming with a boyfriend.   Her body floated out about 6 months later.

It is a tough job living in Hawaii but somebody has to do it.

That's terrifying, Rick. It's a nice photo--but really just terrifying!

Well I guess you wouldn't want to go swimming in THAT stream/river, huh?

Thanks for posting this Rick, and thanks for the extra detail in the description. It's very interesting.
