beautiful photography such as these speak for themselves on capability of the system

No, they speak to Marco's excellent skills as a photographer.

of course, but Marco has access to Canon FF and great L and he chose M system as the capable preference for these

Canon doesn't want this stuff hanging around, it is too good for such prices

Half of Marco's samples posted here are with the original M and the other half with the original M6.

ah, you always point to bodies in the equation, but it is not just about the bodies, and the photographer, it is also about the glass - and Canon doesn't make the best RF-s counterparts as compared to the M - the M glass is small, too good, and too much of a value proposition for them to embrace M in their expensive R world as we currently know it

and your fuji world has gone pricey, as we notice you can't get sufficient action buffer in that xt--5 unless you spend huge dollars on higher models - so I read you'll be looking at nikon FF

the camera landscape is changing...

I'm for value propositions in small and powerful packages

Ordered on Nov 28. Credit card charge showed pending for 4 or 5 days and then disappeared. My order shows on the Canon site as pending. Not sure what's going on.

When that happened to me in the past, the particular camera was on back-order (was in stock when order was placed). The order was eventually cancelled in January. I guess they couldn't fulfil the order at the price for me.

Lets hope it's not the same scenario, and they do have enough stock to fulfil orders.

M50ii kit is currently out of stock.

You may need to call customer service.  Canon's phone menu is not particularly fun and the wait time might be a bit.  I recently had to call & chose the morning, which might have helped.  Once I navigated the menu system an agent answered and took care of the issue fairly quickly.  FWIW, the M6II body (black) appears to be in stock and the silver body appears out.  The M6II w/15-45 is not currently listed.

Re: New to Canon M--a few questions

After getting through to Canon, my order went to the Loss Prevention Department whatever that means (they weren't exactly forthcoming). I decided to cancel it since there was no delivery in sight. I still have a Fuji lens (that no one wanted to buy) so I found a deal on an older Fuji body on fred miranda--a couple hundred cheaper than mpb for the same body and a couple hundred cheaper than the M50ii w lens after taxes. Thanks again for all the advice from the friendly forum members who generously answered by questions.

Great Pictures! How are they so sharp? Are they SOOC or processed?
