SD Quattro - Resale Value...?

.................

Hello:

I am contemplating (not yet decided for sure), of selling my Sigma SD Quattro camera.

I have the Sigma PG-41 vertical battery grip also purchased for it.

Just curious, as there are not a LOT of these listed online selling used, as to what one might be expected (I know, - "supply-and-demand") - to get for one in excellent condition?

Thanks for your viewpoints...

Have a nice day,

Ed

Like anything, depends on how fast you want to sell.  All comes down to price and demand timing.  I sold my grip for $175 and SDQ for $435 on eBay.  Both sold within days of listing.  Sold my SDH for $1399 with a highly regarded SA ART lens and new accessories in a few days.

$435 is the cheapest ive seen an SDq.  I had one and sold it for around $550-600.  I actually miss it quite a lot.

check ebay and sigma outlet.  I know sigma has SD quattro listed for $599 refurbs.

Any interest in buying another?

I think that 500-550 bucks if what you can fetch on average on a "plain" SD Quattro, since they can still be found new, and  at times for as low as 650 bucks (sans kit lens, bought one on Amazon some time ago).

The H is another story, never seen one listed for less than 1,000 (this is what I paid mine recently), they cannot be found new anymore and even used they are pretty elusive (at least here in Europe).

The grip I think you can get at least 150 bucks is someone is interested, as is basically impossible to be found even used.

Sorta, its not currently in the budget especially since i just got a DP1 merrill this past week.  I do miss the SDq, but was looking for a camera that can fit in a coat pocket and bring with me everywhere... When i need a bigger camera, i have my A7iv
