Minolta 28-135 4-4.5?

Hi guys.

Yesterday I notice that on Minolta 28-135 at 28mm on f4  aperture blades are still visible looks like its closed a little bit. It's normal?

Yes , that's how it's supposed to work .

They never disappear so you always have a hexagonal aperture showing .

When Minolta brought out the new series of lenses a few years later , they started having circular apertures , especially when wide open to even slightly stopped down .
