Back to Fuji land!
13

After owning the X-T20, X-T2, X-T3, X-T4 I moved over to Sony FF. First the A7iii then the A7C. Whilst I couldn’t really argue with the results, I didn’t enjoy shooting with them at all.

I primarily take family pictures, macro and wildlife, but I was only really using the X series cameras for family pics. I then picked up the 90MM and 200-600 for the Sony. The weight of both setups was a hindrance so when the X-T5 was announced I jumped on board!

I picked it up in black, with the 16-80, 23MM f2, Laowa 65MM 2X Macro and I have just ordered the 100-400.

I was leaning towards the 70-300 plus a TC if needed, just for weight. However Wex had 15% off used items for Black Friday so snapped up a boxed, “9 condition” 100-400 for £636, it arrives tomorrow.

I can’t wait to try out the X-T5 for Macro and Wildlife!

I haven’t had a chance to take it out yet, I just had a play with the Laowa and pointed it at my iPhone screen. Seeing the individual pixels made me laugh.

Hi, welcome back, I too got a XT5 last week. That's a cracking good deal on the 100-400. Here is a shot with this combo on my first outing with it:

I have also moved a bit away from Fuji during the last 1.5y using much more an m43 setup (EM1.3). Olympus lenses are lovely and sensor is good enough especially with the aid of software, however I do miss the Fuji experience too and looking to come back with the XT5.

The picture of the iPhone screen is amazing.

Will do. It’s not really macro season, but I’ll head out nonetheless!

I know why you mean, things here are wet cold wet cold and grey, and bugless, my own thoughts are turning back to birds, so thanks for any shots you get, no rush

I still haven't had a chance to go out with it! I did pop into the garden to try and grab some icy shots with the Laowa, it's such a lightweight powerhouse!

I need to get out into the woods with the weather like this.

sparkley...

I'm not sure where you were focussed, i'd have tried getting closer to the 3 water drops on the LHS to see what was reflected
