Any USB-c male to USB-3 adapter cable reliable for Pixel 6?

I have Pixel 6 phone that came with a stubby USB-C to USB-3 adapter.  Unfortunately, the USB-3 side of the thing is a female port, so I cannot plug it into my PC's female USB ports.  If I try to bridge the gap with a USB to USB cable (whether USB-1 or USB-2, I do not know), neither the phone nor the PC recognize any connection.

What make and model of adapter will enable me both transfer files and charge the Pixel 6 phone when connected to a PC?   A 3-foot cable length would be ideal.  Both ends need to be male.

Can anyone vouch for a product that will answer my prayers?

I see devices of this sort for sale on Amazon, but most promise only USB-2 480mbps performance or do not specify file transfer performance at all.  Some appear not to wear well.  Some buyers complain that a model they bought offers bad connection, slow charge rates, over-heating, or outright failure to perform.

A newer phone does not always mean better.  I also have an old Lenovo / Moto phone that uses Android 7 and has a micro-USB port.  For some reason, it is no trouble at all to interface a PC with a micro-USB to USB 2 adapter cable.

There are many USB-C to USB-A 3.1 Gen2 cables that support 3A charge (15 watts) and 10Gbps data transfer on Amazon. Just search "usb c to usb3.1" on Amazon.

Here are a few examples:
