xmas cactus, stacks and water drops reflection
4

Its been pouring with rain all afternoon, I was bored and had a bit of time (not enough) and I wanted to try out water drop reflections. While I was at it (and as it wasnt working for a couple reasons I know about) I then tried a new background card while doing a stack on the flower

Things were rather rushed, i and the tripod were sitting on the carpet, the light inside and out was abysmal, the background for the water drop reflections wasn't the best  choice either, but all things considered I think these gave some good learning points

90 images stacked in Helicon before my trial runs out

hmm... must try this again

regards

Jim

Two very enjoyable shots

The OOF background on the first one whispers "Christmas", so it's perfect for a Christmas cactus.

The term "mirrorless" is totally obsolete. It's time we call out EVIL for what it is. (Or, if you can't handle "Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens" then Frenchify it and call it "LIVE" for "Lens Interchangeable, Viewfinder Electronic" or "Viseur électronique").

Hi Joseph, it’s the first time I’ve not used a default black card, and I do like how it’s been turned from a glittery card into something seasonal
