** Weekly X-Series Photo Thread 20 NOV -- 26 NOV **

*Please reply to the original post but change the title to reflect the subject of your image(s) so that your post starts a new section. Also helpful to some of us who are less traveled to talk about the location of your photo if possible

*If you can provide details on the subject, camera, settings and processing, that would be great for people reviewing the images. *If you have more than 10+ images to share, please break them up into more than 1 posting.

Thanks for all participation whether seasoned pro or beginner… And now, since Fuji has released all their new cams…..it is an incentive to go out and see what you and those new beasts can do! And, after you have done your due diligence…POST THEM HERE!!!!!

Streams of Fire!!
15

Hello Everyone,

I’ve stated a few times SoCal gets some really nice sunsets and sunrises. In the late afternoon if I am home, I glance out about 1 hour before sunset. If there is a medium to high cloud cover, I drive to my favorite spot…… not too far from my home.

In this sunset the cloud cover opened up overhead but the horizon clouds remained. Patience, 20 minutes after actual sunset, rewarded me with some vividly colorful clouds. It is also nice shooting with the new cam. Lastly, be sure to click on Original Size….

Very nice Bob!

Yes, we are starting to have nice sunsets in SoCal...

Here is one taken a couple of weeks ago: (yes, it was that red)

Old trusty X-T2 but a new Tamron 17-70. Still evaluating it; not sure if this is a keeper...

Thank you. Yes, I was lucky enough. However, missed the "pluck" moment

Frigid Morning

It was around 16 degrees F this morning when I went out.  There was freezing fog and some hoar frost as well.  I shot these images with a full spectrum X-T3 and IRChrome filter.

Where in SoCal do you live?  Looks like the Tammy works just fine.

Burbank. Tammy looks ok until I start comparing it carefully with my old 18-55mm "kit" lens...

I was happy to see some of the shovelers fly as they have been spending most of there time head down and feeding while swimming in little circles.
