Man, I love the new X-T5, so... I bought an X-T4 :)

I've been wanting a camera with IBIS for a while now and the X-T5 just ticks all the boxes for me, except 2: file size and price.

I would realy love to have one (and I'll get one eventualy unless the X-T6 is even better ), but I found an incredible offer for a new X-T4, so I jumped on it. At the end of the day, I don't need 40MP nor a better AF.

So, while all the forum is exited receiving their new X-T5s, I'm waiting my X-T4 to arrive home (monday or tuesday if I'm lucky). Yay!

Congrats. I hope you like it. The release of all these new bodies means that the older bodies are more affordable, even though they are still great cameras. This is a win-win situation for us as customers.

Great move! Xt4 is a bargain right now with the market flooded...I think the price will go up after the XT5 hype dies down a bit. Although unlikely, I hope fujifilm gives it one major firmware update like they did with the XT3.

You made no mistake! You were smart..taking advantage of GAS! It is like the housing market! A wonderful sensor...great IBIS. Functional autofocus. The elephant in the room is not the megapixels...It is the autofocus..no salivating youtube videos about that! The upgrade to the xt4 is another system...Sony or Canon....honestly...who would trade megapixels for Sony's focus system..tell the truth...God is watching! I own both systems..Fuji is what I pick up when I walk out the door..but I have grandchildren the move and Sony nails it....flame me..I don't care about your megapixels...show me a video that shows me Fuji's autofocus is equal to Canon or Sony.

For me my X-T4 is still "my new camera."

Have had it bit more than one year.

Still also have my X-T20, four years old in the meantime. Well, still young as compared to my own body.

Except from the missing rabbit AF, I am super happy with my X-T4 The major gain for me was of course the IBIS. But also the soft shutter is a dream.

Yes, it is a great moment to find good deals on the X-T4. When the hype passes and the dust settles, then it will be harder.

I'm very excited to get it and try it. I have been reading some reviews (the one here in DPReviews is still of the old style, very long and informative) and it has a lot more sofware improvements than I thought! 😍

All in all, I have passed a very big GAS attack that ended with a catharsis for me and includes a big change in my lens catalog, but that is material for another thread

It arrived yesteday. Man, I have forgotten the incredible feeling of holding a brand new camera in hand!

At first I was a little afraid because I prefered the silver version (like my x-T3), but when I opened it I fell in love with the black version also. Now I don't know wich one I prefer.

It was dark when I received it, so I only configured it and made a couple of snapshots in my room. I made sharp pictures with the 33mm f1.4 at up to 1/3s!!❤

The X-T5 is the camera that the X-T4 will sell the most.
