Green Jewel Beetle at 18 times.

Green Jewel Bettle's shell at 18x magnification.
Canon 20mm f3.5 at 345mm extension from sensor.
2mm on full frame.

Pretty close!

I know you are in search of "structural color" so here's a question:

If you left the camera and subject in fixed positions and moved your light source, would you get the same color mapping across the subject or is the color dependent upon the refractive angle? That is, there really isn't color pigmentation associated with the physical feature, it is entirely dependent on the angle of light.

No the colour mainly stays the same, just the intensity changes.

This is an example of a butterfly's scale that has bowel shaped depressions that reflect a combined blue & yellow.
It might be similar with the Green Jewel Beetle ?
