This year, my wife (Lisi) and me joined for the first time a diving Safari aboard the MY VIP One, that was entirely dedicated to UW-photography (https://wetpixel.com/articles/wetpixel-red-sea-odyssey-2022). The Wetpixel Red Sea Odyssey was organized by Adam Hanlon and led to the Northern part of the Red Sea, i.e. South Sinai (Ras Mohammed National Park) and the Gulf of Suez, well known for wreck dives.
I can say that we were overwhelmed by the good organization of this UW photographer Safari. The possibilities to make UW photos is so much better compared to any other Safari we have been so far, as the schedule is organized to fit exactly the needs of UW-photographers. I highly can recommend this kind of Safari to any other UW photographer
Here are some photos:
First day was close to Sharm el Sheik, the starting point, at Ras Umm Sid. Good occasion to get accoustomed.

The next two days we spent in the Ras Mohammed national park, the south cape of Sinai penninsula. Here the portrait of a flute fish.

After three days of diving at the south cape of Sinai penninsula, we headed for the Gulf of Suez, mostly to visit the famous wrecks.
I was surprised to encounter so many stonefish (Synanceia verrucosa) in the Gulf of Suez.
I did not expect so good reefscapes in the Gulf of Suez
The wreck of the SS Dunraven is famous for countless glassfish.

At the end we had two days of diving at the SS Thistlegorm. Thanks to the good organization, we had the wreck practically for us alone (even a night dive at SS Thistlegrom was possible).

We thank Adam and the other peers for the wonderful company and an unforgettable week. We have already booked a week for the 2023 Odyssey...
