Sunset session with EPM2
9

Kamloops British Columbia on Kamloops Lake Cooney Bay spot. HDR shots edited/merged in Darktable. This time edited the white balance to not as natural as I normally wood. EPM2 + 12-42 R lens

I'm always late to this spot and sun was going down fast. Train was blocking the trail so had to jump rocks on the Tranquille river ending up in the river lol. Took a while to get out of the giant sagebrush field to the trail I needed. No bites from rattles snakes

Nice captures of a beautiful area of Canada.

It's not the cam...

Beautiful landscapes, again proven that it's not the cam and fancy specs that counts. I love my 14-42 II too.

Small point: the tree in the last shot is it bit too much in the centre to my taste.

That lens is actually pretty nice, I do miss all my stolen lenses 8-18/45/12-100/50-200 but compared to those its up there for a kit lens.
I was trying to get as much of the yellowing tree flow and the trail as I could.
I processed some single shot long exposure of the same scenes and I can edit them that I think they look better color wise than the HDR but the noise levels are just too much, I wouldn't care if there was more detail but the noise seems to destroy it.  They would be ok for social media photos I guess.

Very nice shots and processing. Not overdone, I like the subdued colors.

The EPM2 was what brought me from DSLR's to MFT nine years ago. Adorama had the camera, 14-42 and 40-150 for $300 and that was just too good to pass up. So good that I got rid of my Canon stuff and, after missing the EVF, continued with several OMDs.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but yes, you show that it doesn't require the latest model to produce great images.
