Rs3 transporting

I got the rs3 standard kit and is a beginner to gimbals. How fragile are they when in powered down lock mode? Can I just dump them into my check in suitcase? Or should I get a case to store them in? I am hoping they can take a bit of abuse. Maybe I can just dump them in my carryon backpack.

Re: Rs3 transporting

Doesn't it come with a case? The older RS2 did.

Lock it down and treat it like your camera body. Wrap it in clothing . Not near liquids if you're carrying any. Nothing hard.

For carry on that's about it IMHO. Obviously with the battery you can't check it but if you think the bag might get some abuse a hard sided carry on would be better than a soft one.

IMHO the hard part is keeping track of all the parts. Cables etc. You might want a case just to make that easier.
