a sunny morning at last
3

I was taking a photo of the cattleya orchid when I noticed the jumping spider.

I think they are pretty.

They move around a lot and this is the closest it came to give me a shot of the eyes.

This very small wasp was out for a walk on the orchid leaf.

I was kind of wishing I had my stronger macro lens on the camera.

This flesh fly tried hard to get my attention.

I found another species of jumping spider.

It finally gave me a look into it's pretty eyes.

It even gave me a lateral shot.

This is a small green mantis adult.

I goofed and loaded the full size photo.  I forgot this one is not cropped.

Re: a sunny morning at last

jumping spiders are really cute, and difficult as they are so small at 5 (ish) mm, so extra magnification is needed. Good job finding two in one day
