LMA-NK-NX useful adapter?

Can get one cheap locally. Anyone tried it? Seller talking about the 35 mm 1.8 dx, kowledge of this? $200, fair reviews. Thinking about 60mm also.

Re: LMA-NK-NX useful adapter?

I'm having reservations … the pictures of the adaptor I'm seeing on the web seem to be the usual totally dumb unit that needs an aperture ring on the lens to be of much use … the 35mm 1.8 dx doesn't appear to have an aperture ring, again, from pictures on the web.

Just my tuppence worth … YMMV

Thanks for your help! The seller had not used it, not much help there.

That adapters seems to be for Nikon AI manual focus and early AF lenses with aperture rings. The Nikkor AF-S 35mm f/1.8 DX doesn't have one, so you'd need a different type of adapter which has its own diaphragm control ring, like this one:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fotodiox-11LA-NIK-G-NX-Mount-Adaptor-Samsung/dp/B006NPVZY6

With one like this you'll be able to focus (manually), set an (approximate) aperture on the adapter, and use the camera in metered manual or aperture priority auto exposure modes.
