Nice. I'm trying to find the right balance of speed to freeze the players and then keep some blur for the ball. 1/1200 is my go to speed now.

Just shooting jpeg and really only cropping. I might see if auto correction on Google photos help on some. I did increase the saturation in camera a notch since I like the look.

I use the slower burst rate as if I use 15fps then I get too many photos. A typical game I'll take 300+ and then narrow down to the best. I use center expanded focus so I pick the player and set the changing subject to 0 so it stays on that player. When I first did it (before changing the settings) it would switch people too easy and focus on a player on the wrong plane.

Thanks jzalkin!  Great shots!!!  I appreciate it.  It looks like you’re doing an awesome job with that camera.

It's 799$ CAD at London Drugs now so I will at least try to ask for the 50$ back!

Not sure if I can get an exchange for my unit that has some dust as most stores don't even stock it, but may look to get it serviced within the year of warranty.

It was a nice day of shooting ducks at the pond today despite being overcast.

And this tailess male mallard. The panning detection seems iffy and probably doesn't activate for "slow" movements and this was one of the few images where the head was sharp

I use Lightroom for colour adjustment and DxO for preprocessing with DeepPRIME/DeepPRIME XD.

I was taking pictures of my daughter's soccer game when a bald eagle flew by (rare to see in South Florida). No chance to change any settings but glad I got the shot and the quick focus of the r7 did it's job.

Unfortunately it wasn't a sign of victory for the men's team at the world cup, but my daughter won 👍.

Excellent eagle shot. I am envious! I also love my R7 for quick action and quick focus with the lightweight RF100-400.
