Brown Jumping Spider
9

We get a variety of jumping spiders in the shrubbery around the townhouses.  I always enjoy trying to photograph them with their lovely large eyes.

I found this Brown Jumping Spider (female?) near the car park. It resulted in one of my better spider photos.

For scale it was around 6mm (1/8") long.

If you are interested, some of my other spider pics are on Flickr here .

Anthony

Re: Brown Jumping Spider

nice, and the background, like you I think they make great subjects, but I got a crick in the neck looking at this one, I'd have tried turning the camera - or the image
