To me, distinction between an amateur and a professional is a distinction between a photographer who treats photography as a hobby, a passion and a photographer who makes his living from photography.

Then comes the skill level. You may be an amateur because it is not your profession, but you certainly are not an amateur on a skill level scale.

That seems a reasonable way to address the professional/amateur nomenclature.

And thank you

Thank you, great portraits!
I looks like an atmospheric performance.
For me Rachmaninov pianoconcert 3 is favorite!

-I do not understand photo nr 6 in the serie, on the sofa.
- the painting on the background makes the image a bit unquiet in the pictures where it is sharp.

regards, Jan

Thanks for your comments Jan, much appreciated.

That background is actually a special sponge material for improving the sound in the room.

Is it the background in #6 that you see as disturbing in a way?

Hi Ulrik, for me nr6 does not fit in the piano serie. It is another kind of posing, there she could be a movie star or something like that.

Ah okay, I see what you mean. In that regard it maybe does not fit the other images. We just tried different things 🙂. Thanks for clarifying.
