Very good. I guess you had to be careful with the lighting. What size are these Sugar crystals.

Image is ~4mm wide, two LED light sources, 32 stacked images.

I will try to redo it with a different lens, a wider aperture and more stacked images.

That's an incredible amount of magnification. I guess the stacking software outputs the stereo image.

No. I made two sets of stacked images with a 2 cm stereoscopic base with the subject placed ~30 cm away from the sensor, so I used the classical method to get the 3D image.

The problem with macro, high magnification ratio stereoscopic images is a lot of work and fine tuning and the risk that something will go wrong and many hours of work will be wasted.🙂
