Any Recent Images?
8

Yesterday I took a day trip with the X-S1, and came back with a few images. Have you shot any Finepix images, lately? Please share!

These were transferred to my iPhone, where I did some processing in Snapseed.

Later after sunset, the Harvest Moon with my FZ1000 (less noise, more resolution).

I took my camera bag with me last time I took the dog to get groomed, I had a sewer backup right after I got back, so I have been a little busy.  I will try to get them off the card today and see what I got that is interesting.

Report back soon!

We are clouded with forest fire smoke, making almost everything not worth photographing. These little guys show up on the front porch every once in a while and then not for long. Getting a still with them perched is hard but an in flight is really hard. This one is at the last moments autofocus is possible.

Illusion

Can you explain the halo surrounding our living room lamp this morning? The lamp was not turned on. No artificial light sources were placed anywhere in the photo. No digital manipulation was used. The explanation will follow, after a few replies.

Wall Sconce behind the floor light maybe?  or hole in the lamp shade on the backend?

Right! Here's another image showing how it happened:

Sunlight onto the shade, reflected to the wall, finally backlighting the shade in the photo. I found it rather fascinating.
