I bought it for use on my M6ii after watching a video extolling its capabilities, in which they also recommended it for astrophotography. As it turns out, I prefer the 16 mm f/1.4 and 12 mm f/2 for AP much more than the 7.5 mm. Perfectly good lens though so I kept it, just haven't used it as much as I thought I would.

Dustin Abbott likes it.

He also thinks their FF 11mm fisheye is optically excellent. I bought the latter for my EOS R, though I already had the Samyang 8mm f/2.8 EF-M mount fisheye. I think the FF and APS-C lenses are about equally good for landscapes, even though I'd hoped the (cheaper) 11mm would be better due to the larger format. Not answering your question directly, this is speculation, but on that basis I'd expect the 8mm Samyang should be better than the 8mm TTartisan lens; however the Samyang is nearly double the price and can't be used with filters.

The projections used by both the 8mm lenses look more natural than the equisolid projection used by most rectangular fisheyes - I use mine a lot more than I thought I would, but I do have to pick my subjects carefully.

Re: TTartisan 7.5mm fisheye for m6ii

I will be getting one this week.  Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures over the weekend.

I have a couple of other fisheyes for other camera formats, but never one for Canon M.  But getting the M6II made me interested in getting one.

Thank you all for you input. I too will buy this lens ..1] for a new interest & 2] for the low price. I looked at youtube videos for several fisheye lens. I liked the Laowa 9mm but the price is more than I whant to spend for a very limited use item.
