Question about digital converter in x100v

Hey just want to know if there is any loss in quality using the digital teleconverter on the x100v. the range can change from 50mm and 70mm. I can't find the pros and cons of this anywhere

The camera is cropping the original image to the desired field of view and (for jpegs) upscaling the image back to the original pixel dimensions. There is of course a loss of resolution relative to using the entire sensor with an optical teleconverter (or with no TC at all), but the results are typically very good nonetheless.

I do use this occasionally - to help with composition framing when anticipating a crop

perfectly acceptable for small images
