S22 Ultra Dephth of Field

I recently upgraded from S10 to S22 Ultra solely because of the camera. However my S10 offers a far better dof. Most of my photos are landscapes, generally with a bit of foreground interest. The S10 coped with this and foreground and background were both fairly sharp. Not so with the S22 ultra. Either the background or foreground interest are a little blurry. I understand this may be because of the larger sensor and the inability to adjust the aperture size. I use the autofocus setting if the phone prompts, but the results are still disappointing. Is there anything I can do to sort this issue? Everything I can find online just says how wonderful the S22ultra camera is, but I am disappointed that my S10 is considerably better with this dof issue. I have searched out and joined this forum in the hope of some advice. Thankyou. 🙂

Did the S10 have a two step aperture? I know the S9 did, but I think samsung got rid of it.in later phones.

I don't think you can do anything about this issue unfortunately.
