Connect xh-2s to Mac OS (as card reader or use tethered with Captureone)

Hello to all. I tried (and always failed) to connect via usb-c on Mac book pro 16 on OS 12.4 my XH-2s trying to use all different USB settings

Shooting tether :
using capture one, you need to choose tether shooting fixed AND REMOVE all the cards from the slots of the camera.

I would like to get the camera as a card reader

But it does not mount as a card when there is 2 cards, I tried with one card at a time and get the message on capture one :

Description: The request did not complete within the specified timeout period. The Camera did not respond within 10 seconds.

This can happen for several reasons. E.g.:

- Capture One does not support tethering for this camera brand or model

- Camera is not setup up correctly for tethering

- Camera memory card contains too many images. Removing memory cards could alleviate this issue

Domaine: com.captureone.captureone
when you quit capture and tried the reader in the finder, it does not mount as a card.

(automatic called universal, conn. shooting auto, USB card reader) but none works except universal and the system opens Photo.app from apple to download raw+jpeg in the app...

I would like to get the camera as a card reader

Any Idea? Yours

Have you thought of transferring images over Bluetooth? Just a thought.

I don’t use Capture One but also haven’t been able to get MacOS to recognise the camera as a USB card

The only way I've achieved this with my X-T4 is to set the connection setting in the menu to USB card reader and use the native macOS 'Image Capture' application as mentioned here:
