CineD: Canon EOS R5 C Lab Test - Rolling Shutter, Dynamic Range and Latitude.

Dynamic range numbers are controversial and different testers are often using different signal to noise ratios making it difficult to directly compare.

This link is comparing the R5 with video enhanced R5 C (it is heavier, not weatherproof, more expensive, and the R5C requires time consuming rebooting into an cinema compatible operating system for hybrid video/stills shooting).

This article tells me that for my stills centric shooting style the R5 is definitely what I would choose for me. I have a R5 and recently a R7. It would be great if Cined would compare the R5 and R7 for video. My experience with the R7 video to date is the recording time before overheating in 4K30 Fine is much longer than for the R5. The R7 at 80F indoors records roughly an hour vs 20 minutes on the R5).  Moreover doing an hour recording is much easier with the R7 because there is no 29:59 timer like my R5 has.
