Results Mini-Challenge #590 - Reflections
1

It was a pleasure to view all the submissions; and a real pity, that many excellent photos were sent as exhibits only -- some of them really caught my attention. And made me jealous.

I came here with my mind set, but viewing the photos again I started to hesitate -- should I choose the mandorla of Rainbow Bridge? Shintoistic simplicity of ”Goose Spit”? So peaceful, but the more moving memorial? Mountain lakes, that bring to my mind one of my favourite poems*, just like it was written there? And why again some of the best photos are exhibits only?

In the end, I decided to choose FerruginousHawk's ”Reflection in Cat's Eye”. The eponymous reflection is so small here, but nevertheless catches my attention immediately; so much seems to happen before eyes of seemingly impassive creature... impassive, but not indifferent, as watchful sight gives away.

In your hands, FerruginousHawk.

Thanks very much for the selection and comments. I'll have a new challenge up in a day or so.

Only two "Exhibits" posts, bmike and FerruginousHawk, in the MC #590.

Congrats to FerruginousHawk.
