A couple of focus-stacked flower shots
15

These were taken with the M100 and Sigma 56 mm lens. Outdoors, flowers on the bush, and a few puffs of wind occurred, so there may be some motion artefacts I didn't fix. I usually use DxO Photolab to develop the raws, but since these were low ISO, I just used the SOOC jpgs. Merged in Helicon Focus, then sharpened the final result with Topaz.

I prefer a small, light camera for this, since I use an inexpensive focus rail, and a big, heavy DSLR (like my Pentax K-1) can be problematic. Touch screen shutter (which I normally don't like) also worked well.

Take a look at these full-size:

Really nice work! What focus rail are you using?

Thanks

This one:

It needed a spacer between the camera and the thread screw to hold the cam tightly. I used some cardboard.
