I hardly ever take my 55-250 out to its fullest extension of 250, but it doesn't look too bad, I think.

Here's the same photo with the moon severely cropped.

Accounting for atmospheric haze and humidity, I can't really complain.

No, not too bad at all.

Suggestion: You could try resizing it with specialist software (free trial).

It looks good.  I like seeing the leaves and the moon in the same frame.

Again, that looks good.  Once I had a plane cross over the moon and I took it with my telephoto lens, but my xD memory failed.  That was when I was using an Olympus system.  I tried to recover it with software, but nothing worked.

It was a very long time ago.  The plane followed a flight path near an airport.  The moon was in the perfect location.  We didn't have clouds that day either.  It was over 10 years ago.  But the photo is still in my mind, so it's all OK...it's the one that got away.
