If I'm not mistaken, neither of those links have the most recent FW for anything other than the OM1.

Which cameras would you like the FW for? More cameras are at https://lightsnowdev.com/Olympus/ but that is out of date for many newer firmware versions, though it's easy to manually edit the filename in the links to get the latest versions.

If I'm not mistaken,

I'm seeing lots of cameras with lots of firmware versions on the Lightsnowdev site. If the download button doesn't work, try the 'alternative link' shown on most pages.

Unfortunately, it looks like lightsnowdev stopped updating their firmware 2 years ago. For example, the E-m1 mark III firmware at lightsnowdev is 1.3, which was released in April 2021 (1.6 is the current E-m1 mark III). And lightsnowdev does not have the OM-1 or OM-5 firmwares.

Hey folks,

A couple of days ago, inspired by the excellent LightSnowDev website, I figured out how to manually update the OM-1 by copying the update file to an SD card. I've contacted the site's owner with the details if they want to update their site, but I see a few people struggling with the update so I thought I'd publish the details in the meantime.

I've published the instructions here on GitHub, including a direct download link for the 1.2 update from Olympus/OMS.

If your initial reaction is to post "But why wouldn't you just use the apps to update?!?" — this is just an additional option for those that might find it useful.

Thank you! I bricked my OM-1 trying to install 1.4. I was getting ready to send it to Olympus for repair and decided to see if there were any alternative solutions, which is when I came across this post. You have no idea how happy I am right now, THANK YOU!!!!!

That's so great to hear! iKenndac (and the LightSnowDev guy before him) deserve a big round of applause for making the card-based firmware upgrade method available to Olympus / OM System users.

In an earlier reply in this thread, I tried to use some keywords that a person might use if his camera was bricked and he was using the Search function to find a solution. Hopefully the additional words that I've used in the title of this reply will also help to make this information easier to find. If you can think of any additional keywords that might help, please put them in a reply.

Good news, this is the first time I've heard that someone recovered a bricked camera with this method. Can you elaborate in case it helps others? Thanks

Thanks to Orio1189, a similar method is now also available for the E-M1X:
