HeliconSoft FB Tube - Nikon mount.

Hello I am interested in learning about the HeliconSoft FB Tube system.

I have been learning about focus stacking using a Stack Shot rail and have yet to really get what I want.

I did some research and found discussions about the Helicon FB Tube that has internal circuitry to cause the lens to stepwise drive ultrasonic focus motor to focus in front to behind focus point with each shutter actuation.

I am intrigued because I use auto bellows and extension rings and get vibration.
I have a self modified 1.4 X AF teleconverters for my D3 and D800 and an unmodified one for d2h—— so my thoughts are to use the FB Tube to ‘talk to’ the 1.4 AF teleconverters to adjust the focus point stepwise from in front to behind the focus point.

and if this is successful to give it a go with my 600mm f4 manual focus with 1.4x AF to sweep focus for animal / stilllife photography.
would anyone be interested in parting with their Tube FB?

unfortunately I learned the company is in Ukraine and s unable to fulfill purchases other than software for obvious reasons. Software can (and will) be purchased.

thank you. Looking forward.
