"New" Konica Minolta A200.

I had to wait a long time for it, the mail was a bit slow. But today it finally arrived, my new addition... The Konica Minolta Dimage A200. The camera is in new condition, the battery will have to be replaced. That is also possible after about 17 years. Still, I was able to take pictures today, just in my own hometown Philippine, Zeeland, Netherlands. So happy with the result. I will definitely shoot more with this camera.

You are getting good results with the cam!  It and the A2 are very similar in quality, and using RAW output permits better final results than camera generated JPEG's.  The lens on that line of models (starting with the model DiMage 7) was getting a little "long in the tooth" for 8 MP, but seems to work fine for most work.

These are wonderful images and congrats on your "new" DiMAGE! You didn't mention but are these SOOC or did you do any post? I know a little bit more can be pulled from the RAW file but, for me, I love the camera's JPG engine colors and I can never get them when working with the RAW.

One thing I discovered is that the battery from the A200 will also work in the Nikon 8700, which was out about the same time and also has a 2/3" sensor. It's nice I can use the battery back and forth  I'm ordering a couple new batteries as the originals are not keeping a charge as well

Re: "New" Konica Minolta A200.

All photos have been slightly edited with the exception of the red restaurant. That photo has been heavily edited. What did I do with each shot: adjust the exposure as much as possible to the right in the histogram during shooting (JPEG), if necessary, adjust it a little bit to the left, leaving some reserve to restore the highlights. The edits are also minimal: the shadows and highlights made more visible. Contrasts sometimes adjusted, not always. Color saturation and vibrancy, nothing done. When improving the sharpness, sometimes the small details and the medium details are somewhat sharpened, so that pavement and stones stand out better. But it's really only a matter of very small adjustments. With the exception of the red restaurant. I have edited this quite a bit for a theme of our photo club with the subject of party. Honestly, I'm going to do that edit again. It's edited too much.
