RESULTS: *** Mini-Challenge #700 Nostalgia ***

Another low turnout unfortunately, but some great photos nonetheless.

Honourable Mentions:

Richard's star photo.  I think including the horizon really adds to the picture

Irv's sunset.  Simply beautiful.  The reflection on the water makes it pop very nicely.

Places:

Third Place:

WB's sculpture of the gold panner.  Well composed and great handling of the harsh lighting.

Second Place:

JP's autumn leaves.  Very colourful and detailed.

Len's girl in the Model T.  Looks like a true vintage photo, except in colour and two many stars in the flags.

So Len, the honour of hosting the next MC goes to you.  Congratulations.  Looking forward to it....Don

One question - I seem to recall seeing both one- and two-week challenges. Any preference / guideline?

For years they were always one week challenges, then as participation waned we tried two weeks.  Didn't seem to matter.  My suggestion is go what fits your schedule /availability.

And have fun.  That's what these MC's should be about.
