10-24mm with X-S10 for video

I have just purchased my X-S10 so I was keen to see how well it paired with the 10-24mm. I intend to use this lens, plus the 18-120mm (when it arrives) as my two main video lenses.
We've read the info on the 18-120mm purpose built video lens, but how does the 10-24mm fare as a video lens?
The 10-24mm is both internal focus and internal zoom, just like the 18-120mm. That suggests that it could be parfocal and my tests show that when zooming while recording in MF mode, the focus did not shift. When in AF mode, there was a bit of hunting if the zoom was relatively quick, but minimal if the zoom rate was slow.
I can't detect any focus breathing.

With the camera on AFC, AF mode set to 'multi', tracking set to slightly less sticky and slightly faster (one step shift), the lens would reliably focus between a subject 8' away and my hand when held a foot or so from the lens. The AF reliably focused on repeated movement of my hand in and out of the way of the lens. The focus shift from my hand to the farther subject was very smooth.

If the AF mode was set to 'area' then the reliability of the focusing dropped.

When zooming during recording, even when in manual exposure mode, there were subtle shifts in exposure. These shifts, though slight, were in abrupt steps so they're noticeable.
I haven't had the opportunity to try tracking a moving subject, but if I walk toward a static subject or move the camera from one object to another as I walk, the AF locks in quite well. Without question, this is the best video AF performance out of all of the Fujifilm cameras I own.

AF operation is quiet, smooth and reasonably quick. The zoom ring is stiff so some practice will be needed to get a jerk-free zoom. The manual focus ring seems usable for focus pulling.
Bottom line, I find the lens to be quite good for video with the exception of the small exposure shifts during zooming.
