Fuji Xe4 vs Xs10 vs t30 II for photography

I am an amateur and looking to buy a camera for photography. I don't take videos so its not really a concern for me. I have narrowed my choices to Xe4 for its compact form cz I have smaller hands and I travel a lot, to Xs10 for the ibis and the grip but concerned about no weather sealing (extra video options isnt any concern for me), to t30 II for its better function dials (better hand grip than xe4 and weather sealing over xs10).

My primary use is to take photos, mostly street and landscape.

Would like some suggestions!

ANSWER:
Fujifilm X-E4 Fujifilm X-S10 Fujifilm X-T30 II

X-T30 II hasn't weather sealing

Both X-S10, X-E4 and X-T30 II hasn't weather sealing.

X-T2 & X-T3 WWW has weather sealing.

Note: only X-S10 has IBIS but PASM dials & FAS.

I'd pick an X-T20 at this point. My X-T10 has been a delight, and I like my X-T2 very much and would welcome an upgrade of my smaller camera to match.  If you aren't interested in video and you prefer a simpler shooting experience, you may find an older camera suits you just as well or better than a new one.

I’ve had X-T20 and sold it - my X-S10 produces materially better looking jpgs (I don’t shoot raw), has a higher dynamic range, way better autofocus / tracking, excellent IBIS, and it’s way more comfortable to hold.

PASM doesn’t bother me because I shoot in Aperture Priority mode / one of the three preset Auto ISO modes.

X-S10 is clearly a next-gen camera that I absolutely love.

If you can, go to a shop and try them out. It all comes down to personal preference over ergonomics, so what others say will be diluted.

Neither has any weather sealing. I love my X-E4 but would not recommend it to you. It is acquired taste and very minimalist camera.

X-S10 and X-T30II are technically more or less the same. Does not seem you care about the Fuji dials either way so in your case I'd think about if IBIS is really important and then get the X-S10.

Re: Fuji Xe4 vs Xs10 vs t30 II for photography

The only one of those points that would even budge the meter for me is better jpegs, and that's a matter of taste. I don't particularly like the looks of the results from the newer sensor. I love the jpegs I get from my 16mp Fujis-- more dynamic range is not always a great thing. I have cameras with IBIS and frankly, I never notice the difference much, and I much prefer a flat camera to one with a deep grip when using small lenses, which are the only Fuji lenses I have.

One of the great things about Fuji was always that they made a variety of camera shapes and control sets. I hope they have not decided to abandon the old fashioned camera shape and the full control set for grips and PASM. If I have to have to live with that, I have many fewer reasons to choose a new Fuji camera over another brand.

What do you think about no weather sealing or dust resistant.. Did that affect on you?

Never ever really thought about it - got my X-S10 caught in the rain a few times but never had an issue.

My recommendation would be, at a minimum, to hold these cameras at a camera store to see which one feels right.

If you generally carry the camera in your backpack or a bag, weather sealing isn't all that important. You can always shield it with a jacket if you need to, and anyways, all of these cameras can take a few drops.

If however you generally carry your camera on a strap, then no weather sealing means no camera in inclement weather.

Obviously it also depends on the climate and activities you like to go to. Therefore, somewhat unintuitively, I generally don't need WR on vacation (mostly good weather), but find it very useful at home.
