A few images from Southern California USA

This past weekend I was able to get out for some diving. I decided I wanted to try out my 60mm Macro on my Olympus EPL10. Conditions were pretty poor in terms of visibility even though there were only 6 divers in the area. I'm not too sure the 60mm macro is for me, the angle of view and the distance to subject was tough to manage with such poor visibility. Plus I haven't seen creatures small enough to justify the the 60mm, I'm looking to try out the 30mm macro in the near future.

I take photos, not particularly good photos, mostly abstract photos. Yeah abstract is what I would call them, you might call them blurry.

Fascinating set of images Dan always good to see A diverse group of critters. The warty sea cucumber will not be winning any beauty contests

This has to be one of the toughest types of photography there is. Kudos for getting out there and bagging these images!

Cheers,

Rick

The Jellyfish image is incredible! I'd love to have a framed print of that one hanging in my tiki room!

Once again, a nice change of pace from BIF...

I really wish I had used my 8mm Fisheye for the Jelly image.  But I had made the decision to try out the 60mm for the day and of course that's when we see the bigger animals.
