Nice shots, I really regret selling my G10 years ago.

Nice images, I keep going back to my G1X , I change to another camera every now and then and store the G1X  away. Every time I go back to it I find the experience and the results very pleasing. I also enjoyed my G10, in good light it was a super little performer. Nice post, thanks.

Nice. you don't have the problems with AF misses at portrait range some have complained of?

When I shoot portraits at close range I switch to "macro".

Me too, and it does a great job. I am now so used to the odd missed focus it does not bother me, this camera (G1X) produces the best images of any compact I have come across.

Love the pictures and this is why I never hesitate buying an older model camera. They are still quality products.
