Beautiful!  The colors, contrast and reflections are striking.

The first one is sharp, but the second is soft due to motion blur.  You could increase the shutter speed by 2 stops (1/2500), and only be at ISO 400.  You will have a better chance of getting clean, razor sharp images.

IMHO  # 2 is a tad more dynamic and suggestive of the pelican lifestyle.

Very attractive palette and textures throughout the frame.
