Questions about R5 and moire

I have not seen moiré in any of my R5 images. I use DXO as my RAW converter. Are people seeing moiré with all software, or just Adobe? Would be interesting to know. The comment above about “T-shirts being covered with moiré “ is so far removed from my experience I truly wonder what is going on. If swapping to an R3 helps, have you tried simply downsampling to say 6000x4000px? Assuming this is visible on a monitor, at what % magnification and resolution? I have a Dell which is 1920 x 1200, not a “4K” screen, maybe it’s less likely to show moiré? A monitor has an LCD matrix which can introduce its own aliasing. Finally, is the moiré visible on a print? That would be the final arbiter.
I posted two examples above - Adobe and DxO. I can see moiré in Photo Mechanic when I select RAWs for processing.
Switching to an R3 helped since it does not resolve details as well. Once the artifacts are there, downsampling won't help.
Here are two reasonably large sample images; R5 and 28-70 F2; they were processed with DxO. Can you see what I'm talking about on your monitor? LR's moiré tool helps clean this up, of course.
Yes, I can see those but I’ve never seen anything like that from my R5, sorry.

I wonder if the light source isn't part of the problem. LED lights which have spiked spectra can give sharper captures, because there is less wavelength-dependent aberration when single wavelengths are captured.
Beware of correct answers to wrong questions.

I use Canon's 600EX-RTs.

There are no spikey color spectrums in your particular case, then, but flash can make images sharper than ambient light, if using normal sync (High Speed Sync does nothing for stability; it's basically just a lamp that turns on before the first curtain opens and turns off right after the second curtain closes).
Beware of correct answers to wrong questions.

I am also finding this issue with the R5.
Im coming from a 5dm4 and I am always using TSE90mm and TSE45mm but this also happened with the RF24-70mm but never had this as an issue on 5Dm4.
This has reared its ugly head when shooting products with a printed pattern so of coarse I am getting a bad case of moire but mine is slightly different since I get a whole field of color usually getting a color change and usually a gray color.
Im using C1 and so far have I solved it with turning off all sharpening and clarity and exported and layered in PS but I hate to spend that time in PS when I dont have to.
Unfortunately the moire tool in C1 does nothing about this and so far it has worked with the PS layer method but its extra work and time.
I would hate to change from C1 since it works so well in all other aspects but I will probably have to look into it.
Hi, I'm facing the same issue with the r6, I didn't even know what was moire until I got my R6.
I thought more megapixels would be better, but I see that R5 as the same issue.
I just bought black mist filters to see if that help in any way, as I've read somewhere that one is using it on AN r5 and saying that it helps.
Already have the filters but didn't test them.
Bought 1/8 and 1/4 k&f concept X series.
Except this moiré, I'm really happy with miroless, I've come from 5DIv and, cause of moire I have many times want to go back to it (or if I could I would dlgo to 1Dx3 but not a nice price
I wonder if any of you who experienced moire tried using Canon DPP for these photos.
